        some slats had 2 screws, some had 3 holding them on;had to replace screws in one slat with longer bigger screws to hold it in place. This was to be a gift for father in assisted living home. Hope he doesn't notice the oddity of screws. Not sure of stability for elderly person. Won't return to this company.

          I was looking for a "STURDY" swing for 2 people to place under a big oak tree in my back yard. It was easy to assemble. I did use a Sherwin Williams Transparent protective coating on the Swing. The wood is beautiful, and I want to keep it that way. I did a bunch of shopping and this swing is the best bang for the buck that I found. I'd buy it again. We are very satisfied.
