This living room staple is high on practicality with inconspicuous storage drawers and super-high on style with an interesting finish, copper top, and decorative iron base.
This traditional coffee table is crafted with solid wood finished in a warm, rustic, mottled medium brown. The copper tabletop is richly colored and textured to complement the wood. I loved the picture of this and felt that it would be perfect for my living room but some of the earlier posts scared me. As it turned out it arrived in just about a week along with the end table and it is more beautiful than the picture. It had been packed very well, slight hole in bottom of box which didn't hurt the table. I would highly recommend.

I wasn't pleased, again, with the finish on the top. It was haphazardly done. The one in this picture looks great. The first piece I purchased, had bent legs and the top was missing some of the copper finish and had drip marks. The second has spots that look like they were mistakes but I kept it because its a hassle to keep returning this large coffee table. You would think that something this expensive would be done with a little more care.
The freight guy tried to pressure me into signing his form before I had a chance to even look at the item, to make sure it was the right piece, and secondly, to make sure it wasn't damaged again.
I doubt if I will ever buy anything from Hayneedle again because of this. Sorry. :(

The coffee table is good looking-very average construction-but was completely damaged in shipping. They shipped in a one layer flimsy cardboard box and it had no chance of making it undamaged. Debating on reordering. Hayneedle says they can't control how it is shipped, so not sure it's worth another try.
