Why does leather vary in price?
The price of leather is determined by its quality. Thus when buying leather furniture, it's very true that you get what you pay for. Full grain aniline leather will be more expensive because it's the highest quality leather.

Why does the leather upholstery have wrinkles and creases?
Leather is a natural product, and so it will often bear natural markings. In fact, the more wrinkled the leather the softer it usually is. Natural markings are desirable because they indicate the leather was taken from the top part of the split and is of higher quality.

Does leather stretch? Leather is elastic and over time it will adjust to its usage. As it's broken in, leather will actually mature and become more comfortable. What if I have pets and/or children? Keeping pets away from leather furniture is a good idea to avoid clawing or chewing. If your pet is de-clawed and well behaved, you should be OK. If you have young children, you might consider purchasing lower quality leather or else keeping your leather furniture in a room with restricted access. How does leather respond to climate/seasonal changes? Leather breathes or insulates as temperatures change. If used for indoor furniture, leather should not be inordinately affected by climate.

What care does leather furniture require?
Regular cleaning and dusting should keep your leather furniture in good condition. Use a neutral or mild soap and a soft damp cloth rather than a wet cloth.

Does leather fade?
Over time, leather will fade and acquire a rich patina. To avoid excessive fading, keep your leather furniture away from direct sunlight.

Does leather crack?
No. The finish on lower quality leather may split or peel, but the leather itself will never experience this.
