Was looking for an inexpensive chess table for my office. This was one of the only ones that were under $100. I was very pleased. It is much nicer than I expected. Sturdy, attractive, and very easy to assemble. The only negative I would put is that the pieces are too light and easily tip over. But I was just looking for a table, the pieces were just an extra and I will probably replace them with a sturdier set.

We gave this to our son for his 16th birthday. He was absolutely thrilled! He loves chess, and plays often with family and friends. This is an attractive table with a place to store the pieces (our puppy eats them when they fall off!) Pieces are nicely weighted and well sized. Only problem is one chess piece as not quite assembled perfectly and the weight sticks out just a bit so the piece wobbles. We were very pleased with the price/value.

Bought this for my 7-year old son who has been playing chess a lot lately. The pieces are the right size and weighted well. The table is easy to assemble and looks nice - not too heavy to move around. It has storage for the pieces. The table-top (board) can be removed and brought with you if necessary (and laid on another table perhaps). The only slight negative in my case is that the table could have been a little shorter(or perhaps adjustable height).
